When viewing a website like this, it is important to know who the author is so that you are not mislead.  Obviously I can not prove to you that I am someone worth listening to, but I can give you my background and let you decide whether you think I am competent and trustworthy enough to provide you with information.

For starters, my name is Ron Chapman Jr.  I have spent most of my life in the church as both my parents are Christians and I committed my life to Jesus at the age of 5.  I attended Bethel Temple Assembly of God in Hampton, VA for a large portion of my life and now attend Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta, GA where I was an employee and served in a leadership capacity within the young adult's group. 

My related formal education has been getting my undergraduate degree from Harvard University where my major was psychology and a Master of Science degree from Richmont Graduate University (formerly known as Psychological Studies Institute).  My main focus at Richmont was Marriage and Family Therapy.  I took a lot of classes but a few of the relevant ones were:  Human Sexuality: A Therapeutic Integration, Biblical Exegesis for Counseling, and Counseling and Spirituality.

In terms of my informal education I have read good books like "Everyman's Battle" and "Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts".  I have also discussed the contents of this site and my book with my wonderful wife, Susan, so that more than just the male viewpoint is presented.
